About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join their established HR team based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This role offers a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, and supporting the implementation of HR policies. You will work closely with the HR Manager and line managers to ensure a high standard of HR support is provided, contributing to a fair and effective working environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for various roles within the organisation.
- Administer HR processes such as onboarding, payroll input, and benefits administration.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and supporting disciplinary processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HR initiatives and training programs in Stoke-on-Trent .
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Officer or similar HR generalist role.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment and employee relations is essential.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems and standard office software.
