HR Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organised HR Officer to join their Human Resources team, working remotely from Sheffield . This role provides comprehensive support across a range of HR functions, including recruitment administration, employee onboarding, HR data management, and supporting employee relations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with excellent administrative skills and a good understanding of HR principles. This fully remote position allows for great flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising roles, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
• Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Maintain employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure data integrity.
• Provide assistance with employee queries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing to process improvements.
• Assist in the administration of performance management processes and employee development activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an HR administration or HR Officer role.
• Familiarity with UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a remote team environment.
