Health & Safety Consultant| HULL | £480 PER DAY | OUTSIDE IR35

We're looking for a hands-on HSE professional to support a busy renewable energy manufacturing site near Hull on an initial 6-month contract.

Location: Hull – single-site role Duration: 6 months Rate: £480 per day OUTSIDE IR35 Start: ASAP

What you'll be doing:

Supporting incident investigations, including reviewing findings, identifying root causes and following up on corrective actions. Helping review and update legal compliance documentation to ensure the site meets its H&S obligations. Working closely with the existing H&S team and operational stakeholders to manage day-to-day safety across the site. Identifying wider risks and opportunities to improve safety standards and procedures. Providing practical, hands-on support in a busy manufacturing environment.What we're looking for:

Proven HSE experience within manufacturing in a renewables environment would be beneficial but general manufacturing experience works as well. Experience supporting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions. A good understanding of legal compliance, risk management and practical site safety. Experience with lifting equipment and lifting-related risks would be a real advantage. Someone proactive, confident working with different teams, and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE professional who enjoys being on the ground, solving problems and helping a busy operation improve its safety performance.
