HVAC Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is integral to delivering high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system installations for a diverse range of commercial and domestic clients across Tyne and Wear . You will be responsible for the precise fitting and setup of HVAC units, ensuring they meet all safety standards and performance expectations. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in technical execution and customer satisfaction, contributing to the seamless operation of our client's services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and connect HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, and control wiring.
• Perform system testing and balancing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to guide the installation process.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Provide basic user training to clients on the operation of installed systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times, adhering to site-specific safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician or similar role.
• Certification or vocational training in HVAC systems installation.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and airflow principles.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• A full UK driving license is required for travel to various job sites in and around Newcastle upon Tyne .
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
