About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to be based in or around Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a diverse clientele. You will work on new installations and upgrades, ensuring all systems meet high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a hands-on position that requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and strong customer interaction skills. You will be a key member of the operations team, directly contributing to client comfort and operational requirements in the Tyne and Wear region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and commission new HVAC systems according to technical specifications and building codes.
• Perform pre-installation checks and site assessments to ensure readiness.
• Conduct system testing and balancing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues promptly.
• Ensure all installations are compliant with relevant safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and work completed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installing HVAC systems, preferably within a commercial or residential setting.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and ductwork principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to health and safety protocols on job sites in Newcastle upon Tyne .
• A valid UK driving license is required.
