HVAC Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their team serving the Derby area. This role is critical for ensuring the correct and efficient installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet all specifications and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems , including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for installation projects.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing HVAC systems.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and provide client training on system operation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Installer.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., F-Gas certification) are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components used in HVAC.
• Ability to work with various hand and power tools, as well as specialized HVAC equipment.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
