About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join their vital team in Belfast . This role is essential for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential properties across Northern Ireland . You will be responsible for ensuring systems are installed correctly, operate efficiently, and meet all regulatory standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician to apply their expertise in a role that has a direct impact on comfort and environmental control for numerous clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, pipework, and associated components, according to design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance checks, servicing, and cleaning of existing HVAC units.
• Diagnose and repair faults in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with current building regulations and health and safety standards.
• Work with refrigerant gases, following strict safety and environmental protocols.
• Provide clients with information on system operation and basic maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar installation and maintenance role.
• Proficiency in installing and servicing a range of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and relevant electrical and mechanical principles.
• Relevant certifications such as F-Gas or equivalent are essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driving license and the ability to travel throughout Belfast and surrounding areas.
