HVAC Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their team in Milton Keynes , with a hybrid working model that includes both site visits and some remote planning. You will be responsible for the professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that ensures client comfort and system efficiency. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure seamless integration of HVAC solutions, contributing to a comfortable and healthy indoor environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission various HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and ventilation units.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for installation layouts.
• Perform system checks and calibrations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company installation standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues promptly.
• Provide basic user training on system operation to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a focus on installation.
• Proficiency in installing ductwork, pipework, and electrical components for HVAC systems.
• Understanding of refrigerant handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) are advantageous.
