Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to manage the delivery of HVAC-R installation projects across the UK, from design through to commissioning and handover. This is a hands-on project management role requiring strong technical HVAC knowledge, commercial awareness and proven experience managing customers, subcontractors and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC installation projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, costs and variations.
- Liaise directly with customers, consultants and contractors.
- Oversee quality, H&S, commissioning and project handover.
- Resolve technical issues and drive projects to successful completion.
- Produce project reports, documentation and Gantt charts. The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years' HVAC Project Management experience.
- Strong technical background in HVAC / HVAC-R / M&E / Building Services.
- Previous experience as an HVAC Engineer, Installer, Service Engineer or similar.
- Experience managing subcontractors and technical teams.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness and experience managing variations/costs.
- Knowledge of UK construction, safety and HVAC standards.
- Competent with MS Office; MS Project/AutoCAD/BIM experience advantageous.
- Relevant HVAC qualifications/technical certification.
- Full UK driving licence and willing to travel/stay away when required. This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who wants to take ownership of major projects and operate at a senior technical and client-facing level
