In-House Counsel - Commercial

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and versatile In-House Counsel with a strong focus on commercial matters to join their legal team, supporting a fully remote working model. This role will be instrumental in providing strategic legal advice across various business functions, with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts and intellectual property. You will work closely with senior management and operational teams to safeguard the company's interests and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership agreements.
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, and manage IP portfolios.
• Provide legal support for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and business development initiatives.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely, practical advice on complex legal issues impacting the business.
• Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with a strong background in commercial law and in-house legal experience.
• Proven ability to handle complex contractual negotiations and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Solid understanding of intellectual property law and its application in a business context.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a business-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting .
