Our client is looking for a versatile In-House Lawyer to join their legal team in Nottingham . You will be responsible for advising on a broad spectrum of commercial contracts and intellectual property matters, supporting the company's strategic growth and innovation efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership agreements.
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademark registration, enforcement, and licensing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant commercial and IP laws and regulations.
• Support business development teams on legal aspects of new ventures and product launches.
• Manage intellectual property portfolio and protect company assets.
• Liaise with external counsel and stakeholders as necessary.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts and intellectual property law .
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Commercial acumen and pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving.
