In-House Legal Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive In-House Legal Advisor to strengthen their legal department based in Coventry . You will play a key role in mitigating legal risks associated with commercial operations, employment matters, and compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and advise on a wide array of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on employment law matters, including drafting policies and advising on disputes.
• Assist with corporate compliance, regulatory filings, and internal investigations.
• Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents.
• Respond to legal queries from internal stakeholders and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Support the legal team in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies across the business.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrable experience in commercial law, employment law, and corporate governance.
