About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated In-House Legal Counsel specializing in commercial contracts to join their legal department remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, service, and partnership agreements.
• Advise business teams on contractual terms, risk assessment, and dispute resolution strategies.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant UK legislation and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal precedents.
• Manage contract lifecycles, from initiation to execution and renewal.
• Provide legal support for procurement and sales activities, ensuring favourable terms.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial contract law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting complex legal clauses and commercial implications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a remote work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal colleagues.
