About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced In-House Legal Counsel with a strong focus on commercial matters to join their organisation. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide strategic legal support and guidance across various business functions, operating entirely on a remote basis. You will be instrumental in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, and managing legal risks associated with the company's operations. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, distribution agreements, and service level agreements.
- Provide legal advice on corporate law, compliance, and risk management relevant to business operations.
- Support business development and sales teams by providing timely and practical legal guidance.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios and advise on licensing agreements.
- Assist in dispute resolution and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with in-house or commercial law firm background.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial contract negotiation and drafting.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload in a fully remote setting.
