About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join their expanding organisation on a fully remote basis. This strategic role will provide comprehensive legal support and counsel across all business operations, focusing on commercial agreements, compliance, and risk management. You will be a key advisor to senior management, helping to navigate complex legal landscapes and drive business growth while working from a location that suits you within the UK . Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service level agreements, and partnership deals.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and data protection matters.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios and assist with trademark and patent applications.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on potential risks and opportunities.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as required.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and training programs for remote employees.
Requirements
- Solicitor or Barrister qualified in England and Wales with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in commercial law, corporate law, and intellectual property.
- Experience working in-house or with significant exposure to corporate clients.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and practices.
