Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission automated manufacturing systems, including robotics, PLC controls, and HMI interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation equipment and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and integrate solutions into production lines.
- Develop and maintain PLC code, HMI screens, and robotic programming for various automated processes.
- Implement Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies to improve data acquisition and system connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in all automation designs and implementations in Cambridge .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and HMI development.
- Proficiency with various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robotic systems (e.g., KUKA, ABB).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and industrial networking.
- Experience with machine vision systems and sensor technology is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
