About the Role

Our client requires a meticulous Industrial Cleaning Technician to join their facilities management team in Birmingham . You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including specialized industrial cleaning procedures, adhering strictly to safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning tasks in industrial settings, including machinery, production areas, and high-risk zones.
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum systems.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Dispose of waste materials and hazardous substances according to established procedures.
• Conduct routine checks on cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a similar hands-on maintenance role.
• Proficiency in operating various industrial cleaning machines and tools.
• Understanding of chemical safety and handling procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
