About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive Industrial Efficiency Engineer to join their team in Bristol . This role is dedicated to analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency. You will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement, implementing lean methodologies, and driving continuous enhancements within the production environment. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost savings.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and optimize factory layouts and workflows to improve material flow and productivity.
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with production staff and management to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar process improvement role.
- Proven experience with lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
