About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Industrial Engineer to join their operations and logistics team in Manchester . This role is crucial for streamlining supply chain processes, improving warehouse efficiency, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and inventory management systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce handling times.
• Develop and implement strategies for logistics network design, transportation management, and route optimization to minimize costs and delivery lead times.
• Design, test, and implement new operational processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering , with a focus on operations, logistics, and supply chain.
• Solid understanding of lean principles , Six Sigma, and process mapping techniques.
• Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills for complex operational challenges.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration within a fast-paced operational environment in Manchester .
