Industrial Engineer - Process Optimization

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Industrial Engineer specializing in Process Optimization to join their innovative team, supporting operations remotely and from their base in Milton Keynes . This role is critical for analyzing, redesigning, and implementing efficient operational processes that drive productivity and cost savings. You will work extensively with data analysis, simulation, and lean methodologies to transform workflows and improve overall business performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies.
• Design, develop, and implement optimized processes and systems to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize simulation software and modeling techniques to test and validate proposed process changes before implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams in Kaizen events and other lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for new processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process analysis and optimization within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and simulation software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work setting.
