Industrial Engineer - Process Optimization

About the Role

You will work closely with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, develop and test new methodologies, and ensure sustainable improvements are made. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current production processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for waste reduction.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize workflows, material flow, and resource allocation.
• Conduct time studies, ergonomic assessments, and process mapping to establish baseline performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with plant management and operational staff to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Support the integration of new equipment or technologies into existing production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, focusing on process improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Tableau).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
