Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative Industrial Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, and materials. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in production and workflow.

• Develop and apply mathematical models, engineering principles, and statistical methods to solve complex problems.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and performance metrics.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid model.
