Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer to join their team in Liverpool . This role is essential for analyzing and improving operational processes within a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with production teams to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on-site position requiring direct engagement with manufacturing operations and personnel, making it ideal for an engineer passionate about hands-on problem-solving and tangible results in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment utilization.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Develop and implement process changes using Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line operators to implement improvements and provide training.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and collect data for ongoing analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an industrial engineering or manufacturing support role.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on the shop floor and communicate with personnel at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
