About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Develop and optimize production layouts, material flow, and workstation designs.
• Conduct time studies and motion analyses to establish standard work times and improve productivity.
• Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Monitor production performance, collect data, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency in using CAD software for layout design and process visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with shop floor personnel and management.
