About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and analytical Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic manufacturing team in Glasgow . This role is focused on improving efficiency, productivity, and safety across all production operations. You will analyze workflows, optimize layouts, and implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and a keen eye for detail in identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design and implement optimized plant layouts and workflows.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and best practice guides.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to evaluate process changes.
• Collaborate with management and shop floor teams to implement changes and ensure successful adoption.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
