Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Industrial Engineering Manager to oversee and advance their operational efficiency within their Belfast facility. Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop the industrial engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for enhancing operational efficiency, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the design and optimisation of manufacturing processes, plant layouts, and material handling systems.
• Lead major projects focused on technology adoption, automation, and the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for further development.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a significant portion in management or leadership roles.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (ideally Black Belt certified), and other optimisation methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and implementing complex engineering solutions.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to develop business cases for capital investments.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
