Industrial Engineering Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Industrial Engineering Manager to lead their operations and continuous improvement efforts. This is a key leadership role, requiring a visionary individual to set the direction for process excellence and operational efficiency across the company, with the flexibility of a remote-based position. You will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term strategies, managing a team of engineers, and fostering a robust culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial engineering leadership, a proven ability to drive significant operational enhancements, and a passion for developing high-performing teams, regardless of geographic location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for industrial engineering and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of industrial engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the design and optimisation of all manufacturing processes, supply chains, and operational systems.
• Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other efficiency improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with business objectives and financial targets.
• Ensure robust data analytics and reporting mechanisms are in place to track progress and measure success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven success in leading large-scale process improvement projects and change management initiatives.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable), and advanced operations strategy.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
