About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Installer to become an integral part of their dedicated installation and maintenance team based in Belfast . This position involves the expert fitting, setup, and initial testing of industrial machinery and systems at various commercial and manufacturing sites across Northern Ireland. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment is installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards, directly impacting client operational uptime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to quality service delivery in a dynamic field environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble industrial equipment and machinery according to engineering specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform system checks, calibration, and initial testing to ensure all installations meet performance requirements.
• Identify and rectify any installation-related issues or defects promptly and effectively.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial site work.
• Maintain comprehensive installation logs, including details of work carried out, parts used, and any challenges encountered.
• Provide basic handover and operational familiarisation to site personnel upon completion of the installation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an industrial installation, mechanical fitting, or maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with heavy machinery and associated tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Excellent practical skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality, professional installation service.
• Ability to work independently, manage project timelines effectively, and maintain good client relations.
• A valid UK driving licence is required, with a willingness to travel throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland as needed.
