About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team in Liverpool . This critical role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities through proactive maintenance, repair, and installation. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing routine checks, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and is committed to maintaining high standards of operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment according to established schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems failures.
• Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and pumps.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting common electrical faults.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as specialized maintenance equipment.
