About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their team in Bristol, South West England , operating on a hybrid model. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of all manufacturing processes. You will be instrumental in analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in process engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic industrial setting, contributing to the facility's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements using industrial engineering principles.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization tools to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in the implementation of new equipment and technologies, ensuring smooth integration into existing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
- Experience with process simulation and modeling tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely in Bristol .
