Industrial Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their innovative team, with the option for remote work, based near Portsmouth . This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency, quality, and safety of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analysing existing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing robust solutions that drive productivity and reduce waste. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimisation.
• Develop and implement solutions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve workflow and reduce waste.
• Design and document new or revised manufacturing processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and output.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial or process engineering role.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and relevant engineering software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
