Industrial Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their established team in Oxford . This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production methods, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and reduce waste. This is an on-site position that requires close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive operational excellence and support the company's manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques and tools to improve efficiency.
• Design and document new or improved production workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Utilize data analysis to monitor process performance and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and technologies on the production floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment in Oxford .
