About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Systems Engineer to join their dedicated team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated systems that support manufacturing operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that production lines are running efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of automation, process control, and system integration. You will work closely with operational teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements, contributing directly to the company's productivity and output within a key industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems and automation solutions.
- Analyze system performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production machinery and automated systems.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams on the integration of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation , including schematics, P&IDs, and operating manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to industrial systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial systems engineering or automation.
- Proven experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on-site.
