About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Information Security Analyst to join their team, offering a fully remote work experience. You will play a key role in monitoring and defending the company's IT infrastructure against cyber threats. This position involves analyzing security alerts, investigating potential incidents, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and analyze security logs for suspicious activities.
• Respond to security incidents, including initial triage, investigation, and remediation coordination.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Support vulnerability management and patch deployment processes.
• Contribute to the development and updating of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an information security role.
• Familiarity with security concepts, threat vectors, and defense mechanisms.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
