Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools, investigating suspicious activities.
• Assist in the response to security incidents, including documentation and initial containment actions.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and support the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Help develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Support user access reviews and maintain access control systems.
• Contribute to security awareness training programs for employees in Reading .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an information security role or relevant IT support position.
• Familiarity with security concepts, network protocols, and common cybersecurity threats.
• Basic understanding of SIEM, firewall, and antivirus technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
