Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from various security systems (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) to identify potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement containment and remediation measures.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify weaknesses.
• Support the implementation and management of security controls and technologies.
• Generate regular reports on security status, incidents, and threat intelligence to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an information security or IT security operations role.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools, threat detection techniques, and incident response procedures.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
