About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to provide expert advisory services and strategic guidance to businesses in and around Leeds . In this role, you will assess client security postures, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend tailored solutions to enhance their defenses against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits for various clients.
• Develop and present strategic security recommendations, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on best practices for data protection, network security, cloud security, and application security.
• Assist clients in developing and refining their incident response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Provide expert support during and after security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and effective recovery.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to provide cutting-edge advice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Information Security Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Strong technical knowledge across various security domains, including network security, cryptography, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent report-writing, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to different client environments.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly advantageous for this role in Leeds .
