Information Security Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Information Security Consultant to join their expanding security services division based in Bristol . In this role, you will advise clients on a wide range of information security matters, helping them to assess risks, improve their security posture, and achieve compliance. You will engage directly with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct information security assessments and gap analyses for client organisations.
• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
• Advise clients on compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Assist clients with the selection and implementation of security technologies.
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and risk mitigation.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, consulting, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and frameworks.
• Experience with various security domains, including network security, data protection, and cloud security.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Consulting experience is highly desirable for this position in Bristol .
