Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Implement and manage security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Develop and automate security processes and responses to incidents.
• Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, recommending and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security) are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in an information security engineering or similar technical role.
• Proficiency with network security protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
• Hands-on experience with security tools for vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
