Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Develop and automate security controls and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, and manage remediation efforts.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on security best practices for system and application development.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation for security systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Significant experience (4+ years) in an information security engineering role.
• Expertise in network security principles, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and system hardening.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and secure coding practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
