Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and data loss prevention (DLP) systems.
• Develop and implement security automation scripts to streamline security operations and improve efficiency.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations for hardening systems and applications.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the security of networks, servers, and cloud environments.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in an information security engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Understanding of network security principles and common vulnerabilities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to security configuration.
