Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a range of security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.

• Conduct regular security audits and configuration reviews to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, coordinating remediation efforts and post-incident analysis.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to integrate security best practices into the system lifecycle.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats and business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a security engineering or architecture role.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation purposes.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
