Information Security Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives in Milton Keynes . This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems. You will manage a team of security professionals, collaborate with executive leadership, and drive security best practices across all business functions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the information security team, fostering a culture of expertise and collaboration.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Manage the incident response process, including planning, detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Conduct regular security awareness training programs for all employees.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for security solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in information security management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful security programs and policies.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and IAM solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
