About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives in Coventry . This senior leadership position will be responsible for establishing and executing the company's information security strategy, ensuring the protection of critical data and systems. You will oversee a team of security professionals, manage security budgets, and liaise with executive stakeholders to align security objectives with business goals. This is a key role for an individual passionate about building and maintaining a strong security culture and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the overall information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.

• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant advanced security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are mandatory.
