Information Security Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives within their Leeds office. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's overall information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the information security team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the management of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Manage security incident response activities, coordinating efforts across various departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing security strategies and programs.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing security budgets and vendor relationships.
