About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives from a remote capacity. You will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's information security strategy, managing the security team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and controls, the ability to manage complex security projects, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive security excellence across the company, working autonomously from home and fostering a strong security-aware culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the overall information security strategy and roadmap.
Lead and mentor the information security team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security breaches.
Manage security governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) functions.
Liaise with senior management and stakeholders to communicate security risks and progress.
Ensure the organisation adheres to relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.

Requirements

Significant leadership experience in information security management .
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful security strategies.
Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security controls.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are required.
