Information Security Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Information Security Officer to join their team in Belfast . In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with the IT department to ensure that all security protocols are up-to-date and effective, playing a key part in safeguarding sensitive company and client data. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls and measures across the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Monitor systems for security breaches and intrusions, responding to incidents promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an information security role.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
