Infrastructure Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of projects in Leeds . This role is essential for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of significant infrastructure developments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and mitigating risks. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initial scoping and planning through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and scheduling.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, site staff, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and stakeholder satisfaction is maintained.
• Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of at least 8 years in project management within the infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract management, and risk management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
• Experience managing budgets exceeding £10 million and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
