About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their innovative team in Cambridge . You will be responsible for the physical installation, setup, and rigorous testing of equipment at client sites, ensuring it performs to specification. Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise installation and physical setup of equipment according to technical documentation.
• Commission systems, conducting thorough testing and configuration to meet project requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Document all commissioning activities, test results, and any encountered issues.
• Provide basic user training on system operation post-commissioning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Installation & Commissioning or related technical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems installation.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and be prepared to travel for work within the Cambridge region.
