About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for an Installation & Maintenance Operative to join their team in Brighton . This role is integral to delivering high-quality installation services and ensuring the ongoing functionality of equipment for their diverse customer base in East Sussex and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for physically installing new systems, performing routine maintenance, and carrying out necessary repairs. The successful candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and committed to providing excellent on-site service, representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct installations of equipment at client sites, adhering to project plans and technical specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure longevity.
• Identify and repair faults in installed systems, minimizing disruption to clients.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Accurately document all work performed, including checklists and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manual installation or maintenance role is required.
• Practical skills in using tools and equipment relevant to the installation process.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and diagrams.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in various site conditions.
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to quality.
